8:00 am           Opening Ceremonies

8:15 am           All Fundraising and Team Awards
8:30 am           Survivor Recognition & Pink Parade
9:15 am           Kids for the Cure and 1-mile Fun Walk
9:40 am           5k Aerobic Warm-up

10:10 am         5k Wheelchair Division Start
10:15 am         5K Competitive Run Immediately followed by 5K Fun Run/Walk
11:30 am         Runner Awards and Closing Ceremony

 

Tribute to Breast Cancer Survivors
The Breast Cancer Survivor Recognition program is sponsored by Zeta Tau Alpha. Breast cancer survivors who wish to be recognized as such may pick up the complimentary pink cap courtesy of Zeta Tau Alpha. Survivor gifts will be available to the first 600 survivors who visit the tent. The Survivor Pink Parade begins at 8:30 am at the south end of the Center of Progress Building.

Directions to the Fairgrounds and Parking

Parking is straight ahead as you follow signs to Solvay (exit 7) from Route 690.

Handicap Parking: Follow signs to volunteer parking lot off State Fair Blvd. - across from the Fairground Gates. Take Handicap Shuttle Bus to Main gates.

Volunteer Parking: Follow signs to volunteer parking lot off State Fair Blvd. - across from the Fairground Gates. 

General Parking: Follow signs to Race for the Cure parking lot off Exit 7 or via State Fair Blvd. Use pedestrian bridge to the main gate.

Friends for the Cure Parking: Follow signs to Friends Parking off the exit 7 ramp (from 690) or off State Fair Blvd. Use pedestrian bridge to the main gate.

Safety
For the safety of all participants, headsets, inline skates/rollerblades, and pets are not allowed on the course. Participants pushing strollers must start behind all other runners and/or walkers. 

Pets 
Please note that in accordance with the State Fair policy - all pets are prohibited unless they are working dogs or canine companions.

Come Rain or Shine
The event will take place rain or shine. We reserve the right to cancel in extreme circumstances and there will be no refunds. Rather, your entry fee will be used as a donation to the Komen CNY Race for the Cure and our continued fight against breast cancer.

Race Day Bag Check
Participants can drop off jackets, gifts, etc. at the Center of Progress Building Bag Check and retreive them after the Race. The Komen CNY Affiliate assumes no responsibility for lost property. Bags must be reclaimed prior to Noon on race day.
